CEDAC will train 1,435 rice based farming families to conduct seed selection and purification in 2011

According to the result of the core team meeting of CEDAC’s Field Program held on 29 July 2011, in 2011, 10 development projects of CEDAC’s Field Program, from 10 provinces out of 23 provinces of Cambodia, will cooperate with 1,435 farmers to select and purify local rice seeds. CEDAC will train farmers on methods for seed selection and purification.  Improved quality seed will increase in yield of rice production especially through the practices of ecological System of Rice Intensification (SRI).
